Textiles
After passing through pretreatment baths and being dyed, fabric may undergo finishing; textile auxiliaries are used where bath and finishing operations require them.
Points of use
Stages where chemicals enter the process
The fabric type and intended treatment determine bath conditions for textile auxiliaries. Pretreatment is followed by dyeing or printing; softening finishes at the final stage may contain cationic substances such as esterquat.
