Cookie Policy

This is an English translation of the Turkish text. If the two texts differ in meaning, the Turkish text applies.
1. Scope
This policy explains the information that the diper.com.tr site stores in your browser, the purposes and periods of storage, and the ways to reject and delete it. The data controller is DİPER KİMYA ENDÜSTRİSİ SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. Our contact details and the explanations on the processing of personal data are in the Privacy Notice.
2. Cookies and Browser Notes
A cookie is a small piece of information that a site saves in your browser and that the browser sends to the same site with later requests. A browser note is a small piece of information that the site saves in your browser's local storage area (local storage).
Except on the login pages of the admin panel and the staff panel, we do not save cookies with our own code on the pages open to visitors; we only create the note in Section 3. If you give your consent, the code of the visit statistics service saves the cookies in Section 4. These login pages are open to everyone, and the bot check in Section 5 runs in the browser of everyone who opens them. In addition, the admin panel saves cookies and notes in the browsers of authorised users who log in, for the panel session, the panel settings and content copied in the panel. The staff panel also saves cookies in the browsers of authorised users who log in, for the panel session and the panel settings. Further, the staff panel saves a cookie for edit mode in the browsers of users who open the tool for editing the texts on the site. The session cookie of both panels stays for at most 2 hours after the user's last login or the renewal of the session; it is deleted when the user logs out. The edit mode cookie has no expiry date; it is deleted when the user logs out. If the user does not log out, the edit mode cookie can stay in the browser after the session cookie has expired; it can be deleted in the browser settings.
3. Browser Note
The note is created only when you make a choice in the cookie banner. If you click the "Manage Cookies" button and do not make a choice, no note is created. This note contains only whether or not you have given your consent to the visit statistics service; we do not keep a date, a time or any information that identifies you. The note stays in your browser and is not sent to us through our site.

4. Visit Statistics Cookies
The visit statistics service is used only when you click the "Accept" button, or turn on the "Analytics Cookies" option in the "Manage Cookies" panel and click the "Save Preferences" button. First the tag management code is loaded into your browser, and through this code, in turn, the visit statistics code. The statistics code saves the cookies below and sends your visit information to the service provider (Privacy Notice, Section 3.5). If you click the "Reject" or "Necessary Only" button, or make no choice, these codes are not loaded and no visit statistics cookies are saved.

To withdraw your consent, click the "Cookie Preferences" text at the bottom of the pages. In the banner that opens, click the "Reject" or "Necessary Only" button, or turn off the "Analytics Cookies" option in the "Manage Cookies" panel and click the "Save Preferences" button. With each of the three methods, our site deletes these cookies and reloads the page once. The codes are not loaded unless you give your consent again. Withdrawing your consent does not delete the information already sent to the service providers (Privacy Notice, Section 3.5).
5. Bot Check on the Panel Login Pages
The login pages of the admin panel and the staff panel are open to everyone. On these pages a bot check runs, which determines whether the login request comes from a person or from an automated program. When you open one of these pages, the software of the bot protection service provider is loaded into your browser. This software, whether or not you log in, receives technical information from your browser and your device and sends this information to the provider. The provider's software is loaded only when these login pages are opened.
This technical information includes your IP address, your browser information (user-agent) and the technical fingerprint of your connection (TLS fingerprint). We use this information to block automated login attempts against the panels. Legal basis: Article 5(2)(f) of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) (Privacy Notice, Section 3). The bot protection service provider also uses the information it receives to improve its bot detection methods; it is the data controller for this use. The provider can also process this information abroad.
At the end of the check, a single-use verification code is created. Our site's software saves this verification code in the bot check cookie below. The verification code reaches our server only when you send the login form. The provider's software can also save its own cookies on the provider's own domain.

If you block the provider's software or the bot check cookie on the login pages in your browser, you cannot log in to the admin panel or the staff panel. Our other pages open to visitors keep working in the same way.
6. Rejecting and Deleting
You do not have to make a choice in the banner. If you make no choice, no note is created; you can use the site in the same way, and the banner stays visible. If you delete the note in the browser settings, the banner appears again on your next visit. If you block our site's cookies and site data in your browser, the pages keep working; however, the banner is shown on every visit.
7. Tools We Do Not Use, and External Links
Apart from the visit statistics service, we do not use cookies or tools that measure your visits, show advertisements or send information to social media companies. Error reports are sent from our server to the error tracking service provider; this service does not save cookies or notes in your browser. The map on the Contact page is an image; no request is sent to map services to show it. The map link leads to another company's site. The rules of that company apply on that site.
8. Your Rights and Changes
Your rights and the ways to apply are explained in Sections 7 and 8 of the Privacy Notice. We publish changes to the "Cookie Policy" on this page, with the date of the update.
